This is the song we took our name from…

It’s a long, and pretty boring story, but I guess I wanted to show off on the dEUS.be forum about how much of a super fan I was, so I picked the most obscure song I could find for a name on there. I searched through all my old CDs, and came across the ‘Theme From Turnpike’ single, which contains track 3- ‘Worried About Satan’. I removed the gaps to make me seem cooler (and because under-scores are ugly as sin) so I became ‘worriedaboutsatan’. 

The first track that bore the name was a cover of dEUS song ‘Shake Your Hip’ (which is on EP1) for a covers CD that the message board was assembling. It felt right to add the other little sketches and demos that were kicking around after I left my old band to the project. Then Tom jumped on board, and the rest, as they say, is history.

So there you go. We’re worriedaboutsatan, not Worried About Satan.
